Voter Bribery sponsored by DP Ruto at the Coast and Western, letter revealed from JAP SG Tuju.

There is a letter circulating in the social media claiming that the Jubilee party secretary general Raphael Tuju organises lump sum for voter bribery. The Amount used in Western to bribe voters was Ksh 100,000 per week to give Ksh 100 every voter who attends rallies in Western region as claimed by the letter.

The letter was addressed to Navakholo constituency in Western under the name of Hon E. Wangwe regarding the Jubilee money-festo and how to campaign like Hon. Washiali.


The letter was also copied to all Jubilee aspirants in the NASA strongholds. The members of Parliament discussed in the letter claim that the campaign strategy has enabled them to get more supporters.

According to the Jubilee secretary general in the letter stated that the amount of money has been raised from Ksh 100,000 to Ksh 1,000,000 by the deputy president William Ruto.

The cash handouts have been raised from Ksh. 100 to Ksh 500 and later this next month it will be raised to Ksh 1000 in order to get more votes.



The later also talked about the Revival of Mumias sugar as a campaign tool.The Mumias East Constituency is a Jubilee zone with at least 90 percent of the registered voters. 

They claim to be using Bodaboda riders in the area to convince others and give them a handout of at least Ksh 500. According to Tuju the only way to get Votes from the NASA stronghold is by bribing them and it has succeeded in Western and Coast region.
