A 20-year-old girl from Mikanjuni, Shimo la Tewa ward, Kilifi south who scored A- at Alliance Girls is expected to Join Kenyatta University on 26th August 2019, has absolutely no hope.
Juliet Uchi Chironda finished high school education last year at Alliance Girls' High School and is expected to join Kenyatta University to pursue a Bachelors degree in Micro Biology. A story of hope covered by Nation Media this year about the girl made her family joyfully expecting help from well-wishers but resulted in political battle from the constituent Mp Richard Ken Chonga.
Kilifi South Mp Ken Chonga promised to take care of the girls' university education but later went silent.
The promises came after Aisha Jumwa foundation chipped in to rescue the dreams of Juliet.
Just a week after Hon. Ken Chonga's promise, he directed his Personal Assistant and other officials from his office to look at the matter.
The light for Juliet Chironda started to diminish as the MPs officials varnished in the thin air. The reasons why Hon. Ken Chonga promised the little girl is alleged to have been brought by political supremacy between him and Malindi Mp Aisha Jumwa as both looking for Kilifi gubernatorial position.
The Kilifi South constituency office went on a silent regarding the future of the girl.

Many people have found themselves in the midst of politics and false promises that have led to depression and sometimes loss of life.
The girl is now looking for well wishers to help secure her dream.
"There's this group called disco-operators they contributed 20k for shopping and upkeep. Aisha Jumwa foundation was ready to help me but my Mp saw it as a challenge and failure to him (Ken Chonga). I haven't heard anything from him or his office. They just disappeared." Juliet said.
" I'm looking for well wishers to support my education. Very few days remaining. I followed up on HELB but they said I have to be admitted first, get admission number and wait for the application period. The MCA office has no allocation until further notice." She added.
"We are on the matter. We will sit with the Mp. Discuss where we have reached and then give feedback. If she fails to report august we will help her to report another time when we will have enough funds, " one of the Kilifi south officials told our sources.[no-sidebar]
