Fathers of Faith and Friends in the mountain, Deputy President Dr. William Ruto and his family opened a prayer altar his home in Karen.


Deputy President William Ruto and his family on Wednesday opened a prayer altar at the official residence in Karen, Nairobi.

“And David built there an altar to the LORD and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. Thus the LORD was moved by prayer for the land, and the plague was held back from Israel (2 Samuel 24:25).”


"My husband the Deputy President and I were blessed to have been joined by Fathers of Faith and key leaders in various mountains of influence during the opening ceremony of our National Prayer Altar at the Official Residence of the Deputy President,” she said.

People criticized the move saying that the altar was not to be at his home.

" What if William Ruto leaves the office" Njuguna twitter.

"Fathers of faith and friends of mountains.  I have never heard of such people." Ruth Omollo said.
