Journalists spend a night police custody over trespass charges. The Police were alerted that some journalists were seen trespassing for a couple of day in a private developers property.

Two Nakuru-based journalists were on Tuesday reportedly arrested and their equipment confiscated by police during an assignment.


 The journalists were said to have been pursuing an investigative story on illegal immigrants allegedly operating a quarry in Nakuru West.

 Speaking to Citizen Digital, Nakuru West OCPD Patrick Olonyi said immigrants of Asian origin then alerted the police complaining about a group of people having allegedly trespassed on their property.

The Journalists are confirmed from Nation Media, based in Nakuru.
