While speaking in Garissa county, Raila Odinga said BBI will help in combating crimes, corruption and solve community and regional injustices.

With the issue regarding teachers in the region, Raila Odinga had already communicated the matter to the respected commissions and shared with the President.

" I have talked to Uhuru and the teachers' problems in the region will come to an end soon," ODM leader Raila Odinga said.

"  Our brothers and sisters from Northern Kenya spoke. They documented old injustices, the current problems facing the education sector in the area and insecurity. I agree that as a nation, we have to address these concerns and the BBI process should do just that, " he said.

" We have drafted a proposal that will end the terrorism in the North-Eastern. We are approaching it carefully. I'm not saying it may be today but it may take several years to end the menace, " he added.

" BBI will tackle the historical injustices in the region. We have agreed with leaders from the region that we need to work together and close to help our people, " he stated.

"I've talked with Uhuru also about the North Eastern region local teachers crisis will come to an end soon," he said.
