Kwale Senator Issa Boy says he died of blood cancer, not heart attack or diabetes as earlier stated. The Late Msambweni Mp Suleiman Dori had been battling the disease since 2017.


The late has been the best Mp in the region. The ODM leader Raila Odinga sent condolences to the family. He sent an apology for not being able to attend. He directed ODM secretary general Edwin Sifuna and ODM chairman John Mbadi to attend on his behalf.

 The MP was admitted to hospital five days ago. He has been battling the disease up to the last minutes. He will be buried at 4.00 Pm according to Islamic rites. President Uhuru Kenyatta and Deputy President William Ruto also sent their condolences to the family of the legislature.


President Uhuru Kenyatta has sent a message of condolence to the family, friends and the people of Msambweni Constituency following the death of MP Suleiman Ramadhani Dori. In his message of comfort, the President described the fallen legislator as an astute politician who served his constituents with utmost commitment.


" Mheshimiwa Suleiman Dori was a progressive figure who tirelessly championed for the empowerment of the people of Msambweni; he was hardworking, focussed, fearless, with an inextinguishable love for everyone, " deputy President Willaim Ruto posted.


Msambweni Mp Suleiman Dori " Swahili Parliament warrior"  was the head of Coast Parliamentary Group. He was the first to point out that there was no Swahili version of the Kenyan constitution. " Cancer has robbed the coast a warrior and a development-oriented hero, "


Three governors attend the burial at Gazi, Msambweni. The governors include; Kwale governor Salim Mvurya, Kilifi Governor Amason Kingi and Mombasa governor Hassan Joho. All members of the parliament from the coast region condole with the family at his home in Msambweni constituency.
