Chang'aa brewer murder her lover over Sh 50 change that was left by a customer. After getting several cups of the said drink, the customer left leaving the cash on the desk.
The residents of Bulbul village in Molo, Nakuru County were left in shock after the notorious chang’aa brewer allegedly murdered her estranged lover early on Sunday.
According to eyewitnesses, the alleged couples said to be in their late 40s had a fight before the woman named Caroline Chepkemoi hit her lover, John Kiprono, on the head and chest.
The nearby Mawe Mbili villagers who were walking come to rescue as Good Samaritans and took him to Kapsinet dispensary.
Molo Sub County Police Commanders Joseph Karanja confirmed that the man died of his wounds at the Kapsinet dispensary.
The body was moved to Elburgon Sub-County mortuary awaiting post-mortem.
Meanwhile, police have launched an investigation over the murder as the woman went on hiding.
