13 injured at the Likoni Ferry Channel stampede. During evening rush, crowded Pedestrians caused mayhem at the channel.
Three were critically injured and they were rushed to Mombasa Coast General while Ten received first aid and they were taken to various local hospitals at Likoni.
Kenya Red Cross officials stationed at the Island attended to the injured in conjunction with County community health workers.
“I have been at the same spot for more than three hours. The traffic is not moving,” one of the motorists caught in the gridlock said.
