A Governor hides PPEs and Masks until there is a major event or CS Mutahi Kagwe visits again

One of the Governors in the counties where Health CS Mutahi Kagwe visited during the pandemic is said to have sneaked with PPEs and masks from his county hospitals.

 

The health workers used to buy their own masks. The county did not have sufficient PPEs as well.

When Health CS Mutahi Kagwe toured county to assess Covid-19 preparedness, front line health workers knew their matters would be fully addressed.

 

However, before the CS visit, a health worker in that county noted that their governor - before the tour -provided them with sufficient PPEs, masks and even supplied food and commuter allowance. 

More PPEs and masks were given out during the CS’s visit week. 

A week later, the health workers began having to buy their own masks again.  

According to the sources which talked to the star digital, the governor has resorted to holding on to another full consignment of protective gear until there's a major event that will give him political mileage.
