Fred Luvale, 38, dug his grave, kill himself after a hen selling dispute with his mother

Fred Luvale, 38,  shocked Nakhayega villagers in Kakamega after he dug his own grave and then killed himself by taking an insecticide.


According to the villagers, Mr Fred disagreed with his mother after she stopped him from selling her hen.


The man, Fred Luvale who is a tout at Butali on the Webuye-Malava Road, wanted some cash to feed his five children.


Mr Luvale stays with children in his parent’s compound after their mother left him to marry another man.


His mother, Ruth Wanyona, had debated with her son not to sell the hen since it would lay eggs, hatch more chicks, leading to more wealth for the family.


The tout resorted to digging his grave and kill himself rather watch his children go without food.

The incident occurred on Tuesday, August 11, during the daytime.
His body was taken Webuye Hospital mortuary awaiting a postmortem.
