A Senator from Nyanza is being accused of secretly mobilising other Senators to destroy any revenue sharing formula until 2022 elections.

The Senate Majority Leader Samuel Poghisio says they have substantial information on the Senator who has been sending WhatsApp messages with the help of three other ODM Senators to others.

It appears that the opposition legislator could have applied clumsy means to lengthen the debate that finally saw a vote on a crucial amendment by Nairobi Senator Johnson Sakaja complied.

According to reports, the Nyanza legislator has been in constant communication with some senators whom he asked through WhatsApp messages to stand on numerous points of order.

The senator working closely with other two colleagues to frustrate the bid to extend sittings beyond curfew time.

A team allied to Sakaja now says they have learnt there's lack of goodwill on the part of the Senators that vowed quietly to oppose to any revenue formula before the next polls.
