A Nairobi-based businessman Mutuku Muoka becomes the latest millionaire after shovelling the first SportPesa mid-week Jackpot since the company resumed business three months ago.
Sportpesa presented the Chelsea fan with his Sh12,444, 454 over the weekend after correctly predicting the outcome of 13 select matches in the mid-week jackpot pool.
Mutuku Muoka, 45, is a car spare parts importer and dealer from Embakasi in Nairobi.
Muoka narrated how the life-changing midnight call from the firm changed his night.
“When I got the call in the middle of the night from the SportPesa Customer Care, I could not believe what I was hearing. It was impossible to sleep after that,” he describes.
"I had placed four jackpots tickets just waiting for any to hit. I have been in the betting platform since 2015, " he added.
Mutuku locally backs Kenya Premier League champions Gor Mahia FC but admitted to being a close follower of former champions Tusker FC.
" Though I lost many tickets, it has all paid, " he concluded.
