Trans Nzoia woman Phanice Chemutai fatally shot by a licensed gun holder who believed that she was Caroline Kangogo, the rogue cop who has been on the run.

"Phanice Chemutai Juma has been shot in the abdomen by Ken Muyundo, a licensed firearm holder, at the Kiminini Market in Trans Nzoia County. This is on suspicion that she was the wanted killer cop Caroline Kangogo.” indicated Northrift News.

After walking closely, taking her ID, it was discovered that it was not the rogue cop but Phanice Chemutai who is now in a critical condition. 

She was taken to a Kitale hospital where she receiving treatment following the gun injures.

According to bystanders, they were surprised with the Friday noon incident after the man shot Chemutai in broad daylight.

Ken Muyundo is a prominent businessman running several hotels labelled Iroko in Kitale. 

The man is said to have received several calls from the unknown woman telling him to meet her in Kiminini.

The shooting of Phanice Chemutai comes in the wake of the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) notifying the public, particularly men, to be careful of Caroline Kangogo since she is armed and dangerous. 

Besides, the police officers have requested the netizens to make a report if they set their eyes on the rogue woman who is now walking in a Bui Bui.

Caroline Kangogo whose location remains unknown was implicated as being behind the demise of two men namely constable Ogweno of Nakuru and Peter Ndwiga of Juja. alert-warning
