Celebrity Saumu Sonko, Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko's daughter, is enjoying the one-year anniversary of her two kids. Saumu's second daughter was born on the same day as her first, Sasha, in the year 2020.
"So far, motherhood has been wonderful. At the very least, I have wonderful, responsible children. They pay attention to me, which has made my life as a single mother much easier. Children who work together. All I want of them is that they are responsible as they grow older in order to fulfil their dreams."
Ben Gatu, an entrepreneur, fathered Saumu's first kid, but the two divorced after he allegedly abused her.
Lamu Senator Anwar Loitiptip fathered her second kid. They also split up due to allegations of physical and emotional abuse.
"I don't have any regrets since all that matters is that I have my children. They are the source of my joy. My family is my pillar of strength. They have always been there for me and my children. At the very least, my children will witness what a stable household looks like "she remarked
Saumu went on to say that she and her first baby daddy are excellent buddies.
"With my first baby daddy, we chat and co-parent nicely."
Unless she is out on business, she stated she spends most of her time with her children.
She explained that she is honouring her mother on International Women's Day because she has aided her in raising her two children.
"She is a remarkable woman who has assisted me in doing a great deal for my children. In my life, my father is also a very special person. In my life, he is the most powerful pillar. I'd take him over anyone else any day."
"Before I enter another relationship, I'm giving myself more time. I'm learning more about myself. I'd like to take as many vacations as I can. Things are different now, and I'm not in the mood to rush "she stated.
