Diamond Platnumz has intimated that he and Rayvanny are cutting ties.
The Tanzanian musicians have been working together for the past five years under Diamond's Wasafi label.
"This year, other artists will depart Wasafi to pursue their own interests. I will back them up. In an interview with the BBC, Platnumz said, We can't constantly have the same performer in Wasafi."
The Waah hitmaker made the remark a few days after Rayvanny changed his Instagram bio to remove the Wasafi Records signee tag.
When Rayvannny, real name Raymond Shaban, formed his own music label in 2021, rumors that he was preparing to leave Wasafi went viral.
Diamond has also spoken out about his rumored feud with Harmonize. They worked together at Wasafi until parting ways under less than ideal conditions.
"I never retaliated when he slandered me. What makes me unhappy is that you have to verbally insult me in order to attract fans' sympathy. Well let's not be disrespectful," Diamond remarked.
"Harmonize (label) musicians are like my grandchildren." I'm glad I was able to help someone who is helping others."
Diamond, on the other hand, stated his desire to emulate Nigerian musicians, admiring their musical abilities.
"As Wasafi, we're highly interested in the music industry. We want to be like Nigerians; for now, it's impossible to determine who Nigeria's biggest artist is."
