Afshin Esmaeil Ghaderzadeh, who was born on July 13, 2002, in Iran, had no idea that his height would eventually turn out to be a gift.

The smallest man alive, Afshin, is 65.24 cm (2 feet, 1.6 inches) tall, shattering the previous record by over 7 cm (2.7 inches) the 70-centimeter-tall Colombian Edward Hernandez, sometimes referred to as "Nio" (2 feet, 3.5 inches).

Asmaeil Afshin Ghaderzadeh's Childhood In Bukan County, Iran, a rural hamlet is where Afshin was found. He was born at 700 grammes, and as of right now, he weighs roughly 6.5 kilos.

It was not easy to grow up in northern Iran. It's hardly surprising that Afshin has had literacy issues for years given that he was too big to attend school. He's delighted to have just mastered writing his name, however.

"Continued therapy and my son's physical frailty are the primary reasons why he quit studying, but he has no mental difficulties," his father, Esmaeil Ghaderzadeh, told Guinness World Records.

Even though Afshi's family works very hard, they acknowledge that they still struggle to make ends meet for his living costs, medications, and therapy.

His 20-year-old low height prevents him from finding work in his community. He watches cartoons for most of the day.

Despite having trouble carrying a smartphone, Afshin is knowledgeable and can operate one.

"Phones in general are heavy to use for a long period of time, however, I still manage," he told Guinness World Records.

Afshin's hopes and aspirations Everyone in his town seems to agree that he is outgoing and nice.

Mohamad is the name he goes by with his parents and in his neighborhood. The Iranian seems to be a content person on the outside.

He said that he wishes he wasn't so dependent on his parents. As much as he can walk without assistance, he cannot travel alone.

He would have wanted to purchase and drive a vehicle, but his height prevents him from doing so.
