Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga said that Azimio la Umoja contracted the services of foreign IT experts to conduct ethical hacking operations against the systems of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) in order to uncover the truth about the 2022 general election.

During a discussion that took place on Ramogi TV on Monday, February 13, the leader of the ODM party highlighted the fact that the hackers had been given the responsibility of probing the suspected modification of the outcomes of the 2022 elections.

Raila went on to say that the specialists brought their equipment with them to the nation and set up camp in the region around the Athi River.

"We personally searched for IT experts located in other countries who were able to conduct investigations."

"Ethical hacking refers to computer intrusion that is carried out with the purpose of doing no harm. They traveled with their own equipment, and their base of operations was in the Athi River," Raila said.

As soon as they began their inquiry, the previous prime minister said that the group was compelled to change their site in order to avoid being followed.

"They were also being followed since as soon as they logged onto the servers, it was possible to see them. Sometimes they traveled to Kiambu and then to Narok for a whole month in an effort to find out the facts, and they were successful in their endeavors," Raila said.

Raila also said that after obtaining the complete analysis of what took place, he made the decision to keep the investigation a secret. He explained that he made this decision because he did not want to talk about the subject by himself since he believed that people would question his credibility.

As luck would have it, he said that when he was on tour in South Africa, a whistleblower working for the IEBC disclosed information about what took place before the declaration of the elections, which resulted in the beginning of the Azimio protests.

Raila disclosed, in this agreement with Uhuru, that he and Uhuru both fought for elections that were free and fair. The agreement says that none of them can do anything to change how the voting process works.

He also said that different people were put in charge of making sure that their rivals didn't change the polls, which he said was a failed strategy.

According to the memorandum of understanding that we negotiated with Uhuru, there were no preparations to rig.

"What took place was that there were individuals who were responsible for something, but they failed to carry it out," he said.

Israelites explained into detail of what transpired in the August polls with its citizens used to hack IEBC servers.

Tal Hanan brought the three alleged hackers to the said officials. Hanan knows what impresses clients of the factory he managed to have worldwide connection in hacking, forgery and fraud operations.

However, after a local daily asked about the matter, Tal Hanan refused to answer questions, but denied "any wrongdoing." Raila Odinga, Uhuru Kenyatta and Henry Mien declined to respond to the Israel publication.
