Suspected lovers associated with the murder of a woman’s husband arrested

 

Suspects arrested.

Two suspects have been detained in connection with the grisly April murder of a 39-year-old man.

The two were apprehended in Kayole, Nairobi, along with the dead man's wife and his rumoured girlfriend.

According to reports, Richard Ondieki was first slashed before his corpse was cut into pieces.

He vanished on April 14, 2023, and some of his body parts, including his head and limbs, were later found thrown in sewage two kilometres from Saika in Kayole, where he lived.

According to his uncle, James Ongechi, this is the case.

"After Richard had been absent for two weeks, we got in touch with his wife to ask for a reason for his absence. She alleges that her husband moved in with his girlfriend after packing up his belongings and leaving their house, and it was the last time she saw him. She didn't provide us with any other information, and we did not know the aforementioned partner.

The regional Nyumba Kumi chairman, Douglas Makori, claimed that the two suspects had an affair.

"If you didn't know the family members well, you couldn't identify who the spouse was among them because of how engaged this guy was with them. When Richard's spouse wasn't home, he often hung out with the wife and played with Richard's youngest child," Makori stated.

At Nairobi City Mortuary, the dead person's remains are located. The situation is being looked at by the investigative agencies.
