Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen, the family of President William Samoei Ruto, has been allegedly entangled in yet another major scandal, and the Director General of the Kenya Rural Roads Authority Hon. Mwangi Maingi has spilled the beans.
Hon. Mwangi Maingi has roped in the two parties in controversial tender that will see the country lossing billions from the phoney deal.
A blogger named Cyprian Nyakundi has made devastating charges that the Director General of the Kenya Rural Roads Authority(KeRRA), Hon. Mwangi Maingi, has linked people from the first family and the Cabinet Secretary for Transport in the scam.
Through KeRRA insider, Nyakundi allege that they were involved in pressing for the contract to be awarded to specific Chinese Company proxied to the duo.
During the course of the continuing probes, this action is being seen as an effort to induce anxiety. However, there is little action ongoing from the probe due to fear of uncertainity.
Nyakundi posted on X, "Kerra DG under fire after PPRA found irregularities in a tender that was awarded to a Chinese Company (Shen Li) in lieu through bribery.
"He’s dropping names of the first family and Transport CS being involved in pushing the said contract to create fear of ongoing investigations. "
