A lady was raped by a group of boys in Bomet County, Kenya, and seven individuals have been apprehended by the police for their involvement in the incident.
According to the police, the event took place in the hamlet of Chebanyi in December of last year. The footage of the incident went viral.
On the platform previously known as Twitter, the video that is now trending as "sigor boys" depicts a group of guys in a poorly lit room taking turns s3xually assaulting a lady, who can be heard screaming.
This video has stunned the nation, and many people are demanding that justice be served for the lady who has not been recognised.
Following an operation that took place in the region, the suspects were taken into custody, according to a statement released by the police on Thursday.
The police have confirmed that they have definitively identified two of the suspects, and they are still pursuing the other people.
In order to finish the task at hand, the police said that they would bring the suspects before court and ask for permission to keep them for a longer period of time.
