UDA MPs arrived at a fundraiser armed with TSC employment letters, distributing them left and right. Several teachers were issued PnP letters.
When Hon. Anthony Kibagendi, the ODM MP for Kitutu Chache South, questioned how these UDA MPs obtained and distributed those letters, chaos erupted.
The MP has vowed to sue TSC CEO Nancy Macharia, arguing that teachers from poor backgrounds might not get employment if the trend continues.
Although the meeting ended prematurely, we had already distributed about 200 letters. People condemned the act and demanded accountability from the Teachers Service Commission for its existence.

“It’s not right to bring up this conversation in church service. Fighting over misunderstandings in church is not beneficial. It’s wrong,” Sospeter said.
“This is not the first time. No wonder, even in Kuria, many teachers are from Kisii and Nyamira counties who have recently graduated, leaving the ones from those places unemployed. May it occur that this is not the first time? Earlier, Machogu was caught on camera doing the same thing,” Alex from Nyamira said.
“Knowing that I graduated in 2017 and am currently a JSS intern while recent graduates are obtaining PNP forms through MPS makes me feel demotivated. I no longer feel proud to be a teacher. I just hate teaching,” Githinji Emmanuel said on X.
“This is really worrying. TSC has always relied on meritocracy when hiring teachers. “The loyalty of such a teacher is not to the noble profession but to the political benefactor,” Peter Muthui stated on X.
“Children from poor backgrounds without a godfather are crying, depressed, and frustrated. We should call out TSC Kenya for their unfair actions,” Abigael Nancy stated.
