Former KANU chief Whip and Kwale senator Boy Juma Boy Died at Aga Khan Hospital Nairobi.

Kwale county got a major blow as the first Kwale senator died. Hon. Boy Juma Boy died in Aga Khan Hospital in Nairobi today in the Morning. The senator died after a short illness. He was admitted last week on Wednesday and has died today.

The senator was taken to Mombasa Hospital then flew to Aga Khan hospital in Nairobi. Juma Boy became the youngest MP when he succeeded his father in 19883 as Matuga MP.

He retained the seat in the 1988 and 1992 elections and once served as Kanu Chief Whip. He was elected Kwale Senator in the March 4, 2013, general election.

Kwale governor and other members of the senate who were also friends were shocked after they heard the News. Boy Juma family friend and an Ambassador Ali Chirao Mwakwere also was among those who came to pay attributes to the fallen hero.
Boy Juma Boy will be remembered for the fight he had with people who evaded south coast and made the resident squatters. He was at the forefront of the fight against early pregnancies and hunger in Kwale. The ODM senator who is a friend to the Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho has gone too soon because the opposition is fighting for democracy as depicted by the family friends.
