During a Parliamentary Group meeting at State House, the president reportedly told lawmakers that he only needs to be liked when it matters.
Ruto told MPs that rising fuel costs, combined with a high cost of living, were driven by external causes outside his control.
It is no secret that Kenyans are getting dissatisfied with the government’s efforts to reduce the high cost of living.
This has resulted in a drop in President William Ruto’s popularity, despite the fact that he ran on a platform of cutting the high cost of living.
