However, there’s a feeling that if England wants to go to the latter rounds and maybe win it all, they need to make improvements everywhere.
With nine points, the Spanish won Group B, while with four points, the visitors took third place in Group F.
Spain enters the contest fresh off a 1-0 victory against Albania in their last group play. Spain could afford to change up their starting lineup since they had already qualified, yet despite this, their performance did not suffer as they won in the thirteenth minute.
With the win against Albania, Spain has won its last five matches across all competitions.

In order to get to the semifinals, Germany also thrashed Denmark 2-0 thanks to goals from Kai Haverts and Jamal Musiala.
In Group A, the Swiss took second place, while in Group B, the Italians came in second.
After a 1-1 draw with Germany in their last group match, Switzerland enters the round of 16 tied.
With their four points already secured, the Swiss played well, taking the lead in the 28th minute and securing their spot in the next round. Switzerland was unable to hang on to the victory into the second half, giving up the equaliser in extra time.
Due to the draw with Germany, Switzerland has won all seven of their most recent games in all competitions.
In addition to a 3-1 victory against Hungary at Euro 2024, victories over the Republic of Ireland and Estonia have occurred in friendly matches.
According to statistics, Switzerland has had both teams score in each of its previous four games across all competitions, as well as in each of their first three 2024 European Championship games. In their past five European Championship games, the Swiss have only won once in ninety minutes.
