Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa skips the Kilifi Gubernatorial debate at Pwani University, Kilifi.
Speaking with Bana News, the Malindi MP claims that moderators had a plan to mock or ridicule her.
After visiting Kilifi South, the controversial MP said,” those in the moderation had planned to mock me. To harass and make me feel bad. We got the intelligence hence decided to quit the move.”
However, opponents linked her move with inadequate points based on her questionable education.
The gubernatorial debate was attended by Lawyer George Kithi, Lands CAS Gideon Mung’aro and Michael Tinga.
George Kithi is running on a PAA ticket, Gideon Mung’aro is on ODM while Michael Tinga running independent.
Jumwa also termed the debate as irrelevant and she was seeking votes directly from citizens also enhancing bonding.
Jumwa is facing corruption charges, murder charges and misuse of public office.
