CNN has uncovered that during Tuesday’s shooting at the National Assembly, Nairobi’s police boss, Adamson Bungei, not only led the operation but also directly participated in the shooting of civilians.
This tragic incident, which resulted in a high number of casualties within a mere 30 minutes, marks one of the deadliest acts of police violence in Kenya’s history.
While accompanying the police to Parliament, the Nairobi Police boss ordered the shooting of protesters. According to sources, he also shot several people at the parliament’s gate.
According to the KNHRC, over 39 Generation Z youths have succumbed to gunshot wounds, while over 200 others are receiving treatment in various hospitals.
CNN has established that during the shooting at the National Assembly, Nairobi police boss Adamson Bungei personally led the operation and participated in the shooting of civilians, making it one of the deadliest murders by police within 30 minutes in Kenya’s history.
