The president of Kenya Uhuru Kenyatta today toured his political backyard and home in Kiambu. The tour had so many surrounding divisions in his backyard. The president critics said that the tour is meant to cool down the boiling volcano in the central region. “The president is focusing in uniting Kenyans only in Central Kenya region, So does that mean Kenyans are only in the central region? ” Says Political Analyst Prof Kisiangani.

People from his backyards criticised the move of the president moving from region to the other looking for votes while there are many things affecting Kenyans.  According to the president and statehouse spokesperson Mr Manoah Espiso, the president will visit ten areas in Central including attending the burial of the former Nyeri Governor  Hon Nderitu Gachagua.

The main aspects that that led the third central tour is the rift between the central leaders of Kiambu, Nyeri and Kirinyaga clashing with leaders from Meru, Tharaka and Embu. The ODM leader Raila Odinga visited Meru sub-region and he got so many supporters who are ready to kick out the Jubilee administration.

The Kiambu governor William Kabogo who is accused of undermining his fellow aspirant Ferdinand Waititu in the Kiambu race also is expected to redress the issues to the president. The governor denied permit of holding an opposition rally in his county. The ODM leader faced a rough time with Hon Kabogo last weekend when he was denied a permit to hold his NASA rally in the county.
