Kenya-Tanzania border conflict ends

Tanzania President John Pombe Magufuli says Kenya should rethink its mode of dealing with Coronavirus with neighbors as it will cost the country neighborhood relationship.

The President said after Kenya closed its borders citing Tanzanian nationals were infected by the virus pandemic.

President Uhuru Kenyatta closed the borders but allowed cargo trucks to cross because goods are essential to people’s daily activities.

President Magufuli talked to President Kenyatta and resolved the diplomatic row at the border points.

“Wakenya ni marafiki zetu. Kuna wamasai #Kenya kuna wamasai #Tanzania. Kuna Wajaluo Kenya wajaluo Tanzania. Kuna wakuria Kenya na Wakuria Tanzania na kadhalika. Kwa hio Korona, isije ikawa chanzo cha migogoro cha kutokuelewana.” President of Tanzania John Pombe Magufuli said.
