Tusker Mattresses Limited owner of Tuskys Supermarket has temporarily shut down three branches in Nairobi, Kitale and Mombasa. The three branches were closed due to little customer inflow.

Chairman Tusker Mattresses Limited Benard Kahianyu which operates Tuskys supermarkets, said the move will assure that the company maintains the providing of services while protecting customers better.

“We have noted that in some areas where we have multiple locations close to each other, we can adequately serve customers better and more efficiently by consolidating our businesses in spacious branches which allow us to implement social distancing and personal hygiene measures better,” he said.

The three branches are Tom Mboya (Nairobi), Kitale Mega and Digo Road (Mombasa).

Customers will be using Tuskys Imara (Nairobi), Tusks Kitale CBD branch and Tuskys Bandari (Mombasa).

The Chairman also said Tuskys Supermarket has launched online shopping via the website and WhatsApp platform with Sendy riders partners for home delivery services.
