Uhuru orders 16pc VAT tax on Milk outside EAC -Mombasa

President Uhuru Kenyatta during a public address at a Mombasa statehouse,  orders  Treasury to impose 16pc VAT tax on all milk from outside East Africa Community. 

He further ordered DCI and Customs to impound imported milk products that don’t meet standards. He said that Kenya needs to regain back its liquidity and cleanness and support human health as health is one of the big four agendas.
