You need to cut down number of wives to buy helicopter, Didmus responds to Khalwale’s claims
Following Senator Boni Khalwale’s mention of Hon. Didmus Barasa and MP Kimilili in the Senate proceedings, the legislator fired back.
Senator Boni accused the MPs of flamboyance, opulence, and misuse of public resources. He said that the National Assembly has moved from normal cars to high-end cars in the parking lot.
Senator Boni also claimed that some MPs have abandoned road traffic in favour of helicopters, which they use weekly to attend events that receive millions of donations.
The Kimili MP responded to the senator’s accusations, stating, “Senator Boni Khalwale, I have heard you mention me in the Senate proceedings regarding my purchase of a helicopter.”
“In fact, this is true. I made a choice between having one wife, a helicopter, and trusting in God.
“In contrast, you chose a Nissan Patrol, ten wives, over twenty-five concubines, fathered forty-six known children, and maintained 35 houses for hood rats across the country.
“Maintaining such a large family and numerous homes is exponentially more expensive than having one wife, one helicopter, and three children. You are merely a superficial and misleading individual.
