Advocate for government accountability. Morara Kebaso responds to Human Rights Defender Mercy Tarus, asserting that no one can claim ownership of a movement, but rather that one can only be part of it.
He has encouraged Kenyans to freely use the phrase “Kenya ni Home” and produce their own “Vampire Diaries” videos to expose corruption and failed projects.
“The mission is to activate everyone to do what they can do.”
Mercy Tarus also responded to Morara Kebaso, saying he has been stealing her ideas.
“This is your tactic. You ask people what they’re doing, and then once you understand their plans and dates, you run quickly and do it.
“1. You asked what we were to do after launching, and once you knew we were having a caravan, you ran quickly and announced you needed a caravan and came up with that story of buying a PA system.
“2. You knew we were going to all the counties, then you ditched everyone and ran to the counties. I advise you all the time not to rush things, but I learnt your masters want you to deliver quickly, so you don’t know what to do.
“3. You have set several meetings through proxies, and I have turned them down.
“You can fool some people sometimes, but you cannot fool all the people all the time. Sooner than later, you’ll run out of gas because we both know you’re weak.
“All the best, Kijana. Kenya Home and home must be respected,” she said.
