Al Jazeera on the spot over Onyango Otieno interview on Amerix content

In an interview with mental health coach Onyango Otieno, Al Jazeera produced a video portraying Amerix as misogynistic and suggesting that his content is not suitable for consumption.

Tweeps claim Amerix is doing God’s work. Similarly, US President Donald Trump asserts that Republicans recognize gender as a creation of God. God created two genders, man and woman, as Trump put it.

An Al Jazeera interview with Onyango Otieno, a mental health coach, has created a heated debate online about who to believe between Otieno and Amerix.

“Al Jazeera’s portrayal of Amerix as misogynistic is bound to spark debate—criticism aside, it’s essential to discuss ideas openly and consider different perspectives on his content,” a netizen said.

“Feminists must always challenge masculinity; the Al Jazeera journalist must have been a woman and likely supported by Bill Gates,” he continued.

Strong men—mentors, fathers, and leaders who guide with integrity—build a strong community. To deny this truth is to deny the power of unity and purpose that healthy masculinity brings.

Any attempt to suppress or redefine healthy masculinity undermines values that have endured over time.
