According to Kalonzo Musyoka, the head of the Wiper party, it is time for Kenya, and more specifically the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), to learn from the elections that took place in the United States.

According to Kalonzo, the United States conducted its elections on Tuesday, and after twenty-four hours, they counted, tabulated, and released the results.

The former Vice President encouraged the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) to learn from the efficient, free, and trustworthy election process.

It took less than twenty-four hours to count, tally, and declare the results of the historic election that took place on November 5th.

“More than 150 million people in the United States cast their ballots. The United States of America, in particular the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), has a lot to teach Kenya about how to run an election that is free, fair, and credible,” he added.

Additionally, he sent his congratulations to the newly elected President of the United States, Donald Trump, stating that the results of the Electoral College and the popular vote demonstrate that the American people have put their faith in his ideas and leadership.

He sent his congratulations to President-elect Donald Trump, saying, “I send my congratulations to you on your election as the 47th President of the United States of America.”
