47 Governors meet DP Ruto at Karen to resolve revenue allocation conflict

Deputy President met all the 47 Governors to spearhead developments at the county level. The main agenda was to find the easiest way to conflicts surrounding revenue allocation.



" Consultation and dialogue is vital to the resolution of any issues between the National and County governments. This is the easiest way to overcome any conflict on revenue allocation while ensuring Kenyans receive uninterrupted services at the grassroots, " DP Ruto said.

"In this respect, the InterGovernmental Budget and Economic Council have agreed that counties will receive Sh316.5 billion in the 2020/21 financial year, " he added.


Deputy President William Ruto chaired the Intergovernmental Budget and Economic Council (IBEC) meeting at the Karen Residence, Nairobi.
