Kenyan Embassy in Beijing asks Kenyans willing to be evacuated at own cost in wake of attacks to file details, says they must be coronavirus free. According to Kenya's Ambassador to China, Sarah Serem, the government cannot take an empty KQ to China for free.

She added that the ones who feel to be evacuated to register with her office and pay KQ online. They must accompany the registration with a support ticket.

However, the ambassador said that there no Kenyan(s) who have contracted the virus in China.

The majority of the Kenyans stranded in China says they have no cash to reach home. They added that even food is a problem for them as they are also locked in accessing malls and food supplies.

The Kenyans in China will be evacuated at their own cost then and quarantine for 14 days in Kenya at their own cost.
