Ex-Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko reveals that he is ready to official open his state-of-the-art nightclub in Mombasa after years of renovation and restructuring.
The club has been operating but in low key note. Now the owner want it full blown.
The club, dubbed 'VIP Club Volume', is located in Shanzu, Mombasa county.
The founder cheered with a few revellers to make merry on Christmas Day and New Year's Eve as a test run. Socialite Vera Sidika, Corazon Kwamboka, Tanasha Donna with several artist were onboard during the festival.
“We wanted Mombasa people and visitors to have a feel of what is to come. We have not yet set the official opening date, but it will be big,” Sonko said.
Sonko also declared that Boyz II Men, the four-time Grammy Award-winning American RnB vocal group, will be attending during official opener of the club early this year after their performance in Uganda.
The trio, Nathan Morris, Wanya Morris and Shawn Stockman, are best known for personal hymns and Acappella harmonies.
It has a capacity of 15,000 people and a VIP boardroom, where those who wish to have meetings while appreciating themselves will be able to do so.
The VIP boardroom is soundproof and once inside, one will hardly hear any sound from the major clubbing area.
