GOTV subscribers begin their weekend with a clash between Newcastle and Wolves on Friday night. Newcastle wants to mark its existence in the top flight having a good run at home.

 

Newcastle United visit Wolverhampton Wanderers at St James' Park on Friday, April 8th, in the English Premier League's opening match of the weekend.

This season's hosts are in 15th position with 31 points, while the visitors are in eighth place with 49 points.

Wolverhampton Wanderers go to St James' Park after a 2-1 victory over Aston Villa at home last weekend. Wolverhampton Wanderers led 2-1 at the break and only succumbed in the last minutes of the game.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have now won three of their past four Premier League games, putting them in contention to finish above Manchester United this season.

Away from the stage Wolverhampton Wanderers have won five of their last seven league road games. Brighton and Hove Albion, Manchester United, Brentford, Tottenham Hotspur, and Everton have all won. Arsenal and West Ham United were the sites of the two losses.
