A man commits suicide after borrowing a loan and not being able to repay it after a deal went wrong.
The young man from Mavueni, Kilifi County, borrowed Sh 500 from the hustler fund, and after 14 days elapsed, he did not know how he would repay the loan.
The man asked a friend the consequences of taking the government loan; however, it was not clear what the answer was.
The young man is said to have used the remaining balance from the loan to buy a rope that he used to commit suicide.
The man committed suicide. Residents have urged youths to be responsible and not treat life as a game.
The local administration has yet to provide an update because the investigation has only recently begun.
