Margaret Wairimu who gave birth to five babies

The blessed family of Margaret Wairimu and Simon Ndungu Kinyanjui moved from joy to pain. Margret Wairimu delivered her children at Nakuru Level Five Hospital. She gave birth to five babies on Tuesday.

However, in less than 72 hours, the mother of six has lost her quintuplets. Simon Ndungu Kinyanjui, whose wife gave birth to five babies, was seeking help to take care of his children.

However, all was not well until the doctor came to break the bad news. The doctor explained that the cause of death for the five Nakuru babies was that their internal organs had not fully developed due to their being underweight.

According to Aisha Maina, the hospital's superintendent, the lady arrived at the facility on January 29 in discomfort.

She claimed, "The doctors realized she had a multiple pregnancy that was at high risk."

She claimed that she went into labor yesterday after being hospitalized right away for observation.

According to Maina, the mother and the five infants were to be taken care immediately. She was taken to the operating room for an emergency Caesarean section.

Maina reported that preterm births were handled safely.

Seven months into the pregnancy, the infants were born weighing just 500 to 600 grams, according to the lady.

"When the newborns reached a weight at which they could live independently, " according to Maina, "the mother and her offspring would be freed."
