Akothee, a flamboyant singer and businesswoman, and her fiance Dennis "Omosh" Schweizer got married today in a flashy style in a no white wedding.

The lavish wedding, which is now taking place at the Windsor Golf Hotel in Nairobi, has drawn some of the most well-known and powerful figures in Kenyan politics and entertainment.

Akothee will say her vows under a huge white dome with white and green flowers and sparkling crescent moon chandeliers.

Guests like Madam Dorothy Nyong'o, the first lady of Kisumu, and Dr. Agnes Ayacko, the first lady of Migori, Suleiman Shahbal, a former candidate for governor of Mombasa, and High Court counsel Professor PLO Lumumba, have been invited to the wedding.

Janet Mbugua, a TV star, Njugush, a comedian, Alex Mwakideu, a radio host, Sandra Dacha, an actress, and others have already arrived for the wonderful celebrations.

Akothee's parents, her parents and siblings, and the family of Omosh, who are said to have arrived in the nation a few days ago via plane, are also there, as are entertainment activities clothed in flowing traditional clothing.
