Benga queen Suzanna Owiyo mourns the death of her father

Kenyan artist and queen of Benga, Suzanna Owiyo, is in profound grief following her father’s unexpected death.

The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) Goodwill Ambassador confirmed the sad moments on her Twitter account on Monday morning, 25th January.

Suzanna praised Owiyo as a great father and a mentor to many people.

“It’s hard to say goodbye. I know you are in a better place, where there’s is no pain. You are at peace now. You’ll always be in my heart. Thank you for being a great father and a mentor to many. Rest well Dad till we meet again,” she tweeted.
