Ciku Muiruri’s daughter, Erica Gachoka, allegedly abducted by a rogue taxi driver

A taxi driver kidnapped Erica Gachoka and her companion Shanice Agose on Sunday, according to media personality Ciku Muiruri.

Muiruri writes in a Facebook post that her daughter Erica was kidnapped at 2 a.m. on Sunday without providing any other information.

“May you all live in peace. Below is a novena. I must ask each and every one of you a very important request first, however. My daughter and a friend of hers were taken by a taxi driver in the early hours of Sunday morning (2 a.m.),” Muiruri stated.

A distraught Muiruri pleaded with those who backed her to pray for the two friends’ safety from the kidnappers.

“We are aware of the power of prayer. End wars. Please include in your prayers my daughter, Erica Njeri, and her friend, Shanice Agose. Additionally, and this is crucial, pray for the people who have stolen them so that their departed souls are saved,” she said.

Erica, 26, is the creator of the Le Ngai Foundation and a graduate of the University of Nottingham.

“I won’t eat anything until she is brought home safely. And I believe that with all of your prayers, she will be brought back to me safely,” she said.

“I’ll do all in my power to bring her home safely, but I know that without God’s grace, we can’t even tie our shoes. No matter what they are doing to her, where she is, or if I am ever going to see her alive again, I have little influence over it,” Muiruri said.

For all Kenyans in need, Erica has been at the forefront of advocating for simple access to lifesaving blood transfusion services.
