Former Kakamega Senator Bonny Khalwale has been arrested and immediately released.
He was accused of inciting and endangering community after engaged himself in a gathering.
He called out a gathering in Kakamega where he was later teargassed.
He is also accused of stage-managing chaos where he organised and mobilized youths to booed, cause havoc and drama at the devolution CS Eugene Wamalwa and CoG Chairman Wyclife Oparanya.
” The police must never be used to score political points. Today I was arrested and charged on the false allegations that I held a public meeting and incited the public against CS Wamalwa and Gov Oparanya at Kakamega Airstrip! Thankfully the court released me on a Sh 200,000 cash bail, ” he posted.
