Dr Bonny Khalwale arrested and released shortly on cash bail

Former Kakamega Senator Bonny Khalwale has been arrested and immediately released. He was accused of inciting and endangering community after engaged himself in a gathering. 

He called out a gathering in Kakamega where he was later teargassed.

He is also accused of stage-managing chaos where he organised and mobilized youths to booed, cause havoc and drama at the devolution CS Eugene Wamalwa and CoG Chairman Wyclife Oparanya.

” The police must never be used to score political points. Today I was arrested and charged on the false allegations that I held a public meeting and incited the public against CS Wamalwa and  Gov Oparanya at Kakamega Airstrip! Thankfully the court released me on a Sh 200,000 cash bail, ” he posted.
