Exposed! How Beleview Hospital bribes KMPDU, KRA without paying workers salaries

Employees at Beleview Hospital (South C) say they have not received their salaries since February this year and the management keeps on playing pingpong games on employees sweat.

They have been continuously claiming their dues, but hospital management allegedly insists there are no funds available.

An insider has exposed a troubling contradiction in which the hospital purports to be in financial difficulties but reportedly receives funds from insurance companies through fraudulent means, such as ghost patients with hundreds of falsified files.

They claim that failing to cover their shifts has resulted in severe consequences, including immediate termination and replacement with paid locum workers.

Bellevue Hospital is a malpractice hub, operating with only clinicians and one qualified nurse after firing or forcing the resignations of other staff members, according to sources.

“Please help post this and hide my ID. I’ve been working at Belleview Hospital for years and haven’t received my salary since February of this year. Funny enough, when you claim your money, they claim they don’t have any, yet the hospital is even receiving money from insurance through fraud and ghost patients, whose files number in the hundreds at the hospital, ” according to sources who provided information to blogger Cyprian Nyakundi.

” If you don’t cover your shift, they terminate your employment and assign you to locums, who receive payment. Every day, our families struggle with hunger, our houses close due to unpaid rent, and our children receive no school fees. Only clinicians and one qualified nurse run this Qwerkism centre, firing the rest and forcing some to resign.

“The director has the audacity to assert that he has other priorities than paying the employees, which is quite distressing. Organizations such as KMPDU, the nursing council, and KRA ought to take action, as the hospital bribes the representatives they dispatch,” sources claimed.

The Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentist Board has registered Beleview Hospital as a level 4 facility, making it a 24-hour private institution.

Most callous and indifferent employers are taking advantage of the difficult economic situation to mistreat their employees because they know their options for alternative job opportunities are limited.
