How a poor rural pastor rose to become highly respected, with abundant wealth

Everyone wants to make money and have a happy family, and no one wants to live miserably. These days, preaching without a reward has become obsolete and is akin to working for a penny.

Pastor John Wanyama has testimony of getting from the ground to the top of his ministry, which he co-founded with his brother.

After a disagreement with the JCC bishop in Nairobi, the ministry began. According to the pastor, people misunderstood him because of his belief in leading a true-believer church.

However, they informed him that it was a business, and it would be beneficial for him to support it.

The pastor moved on to start his ministry in his rural home in Kakamega. The church stagnated for a considerable period before his brother advised him to explore alternative avenues.

They conversed, and each expressed their own unique perspective within the same ministry.

While browsing the internet, his brother came across a testimony about a pastor who faced numerous challenges but overcame them to achieve success. The man of God contacted the specialist, who helped the fellow pastor with the testimony.

After two Sundays, his church began to grow, with people streaming in. He performed live miracles that even surprised him. He told his brother that Dr. Kiwanga had helped him make his church grow. As a result, he gave his brother Dr. Kiwanga’s number +254769404965.

He summoned the traditional healer, who granted his wish. The following Sunday, a tycoon called and said that he was doing CSR in the community but wanted to fund his church and become the centre for his project.

The company gave Pastor John Wanyama Sh25 million for the project and another Sh10 million for church expansion. Pastor John shared the news with his brother, and the money elevated both churches.

Now the churches are transforming from village churches to modern churches, with each church running a community programme benefiting its respective villages.
