Huawei and Uganda denied reports on spying Bob Wine through Huawei technicians

Huawei company has denied all the allegations made by the UK journal that it helped Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni spying his rival Bob Wine.

The Ugandan government denied allegations also made in the spying report published by the Wall Street Journal. The report indicated that it Ugandan government worked with technicians from the telecoms company Huawei to crack the encrypted communications of popular musician-turned-MP Bobby Wine.

Ugandan government spokesman Ofowno Opondo told BBC Africa that the government could not go against human rights and any violation in untrue and unjustified.
