Meet Vusumuzi Moyo, a renowned sound engineer who used to work with the legendary Oliver Mtukudzi.
President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s secret service officers kidnapped him from a plane, tortured him for eight hours at Robert Mugabe International Airport, and threw him into prison without a trial after denying him bail.
He was on his way to Victoria Falls to engineer a concert when he was wrongly accused of plotting protests.
He is one of over 100 Zimbabweans jailed by embattled President Emmerson Mnangagwa for the past 60 days as part of his ruthless and senseless crackdown against pro-democracy activists!
Zimbabwe has become a very dangerous place for anyone perceived to be opposed to corrupt rule, with people now alleging President Mnangagwa has a well-known criminal network that loots public funds.
The people of Zimbabwe accuse the president of leading a gang of criminals who steal public funds intended for public services.
“Mugabe was a repressive leader, but with Mnangagwa in the State House, Zimbabweans now have a thief and political thug in charge,” according to Hollywell Chin’ono in Harare.
“He is a dangerous tyrant, willing to even kill his own colleagues to maintain his power,” he added.
“Regrettably, this sadistic president has turned Vusi, who has been in prison for two weeks, into just another statistic,” he concluded.
