Lost Patriotism or Not? Majority of Kenyans on social media celebrates Police officers who lost their lives in an Alshabaab attack in Lamu.

The Majority of Kenyans apart from the Central Kenya have been celebrating what Al-Shabaab has been doing recently. Half of the country has stopped being patriotic and engage in hate and uncivilised manners.


The actions that the Kenyan Police have been directed to do during demonstrations have killed the Patriotism the Majority of Kenyans.


Pictures have been going around on social media after the Alshabaab killed Kenyan Police officers and Hijacked others plus their vehicles have triggered triumph. The majority of people in Social media have been celebrating the Killings citing that the terror group could do so in certain areas.


What went wrong? The Police who have been brutalising people and killing innocent children in the name of fighting demonstration has taken to task. Now, half of the people in Kenya are celebrating the death of Kenyan Police officers who were killed by Alshabaab in Boni forest last evening.


Only a few from the Central region have cited that the Police officers Killed could be their brothers too. The Social media posts have shown that regardless of brotherhood and family friend, people were excited about the what happened.


It is now clear that the Kenyan Police need true reforms that will make the majority of the public believe that they are sons and daughters of the land rather than celebrating their deaths.


The Deaths of the children during the Demonstration have been denied by the Inspector general of police Joseph Boinnet saying Police did were there to protect life and property but not meant to kill people.


According to the KNHRC and Amnesty international, More than 50 People were killed by Police after they were discovered to have been shot and almost 100 injured and bullets still lodged in their bodies.
