Drama as 2 OCSs fight for space at Kisumu Central, incumbent refuses to be transferred

Chaos, Drama and confusion ensued at Kisumu Central Police station after an OCS who was transferred two weeks ago pledges to stay firm despite the station having an OCS.


The station now has two OCSs who are fighting to visit clients.


Thomas Thembara who was transferred to Uasin Gishu county purportedly declined to pave way for Paul Muturi who should be the new OCS at the station.


According to an officer in the police station who yearned for nowheresville, the duo is also scrambling for the OCS seat and other office equipment as well.


“The officer has refused to go and insists that he must remain here. It’s drama daily for the past two weeks,” the officer said.


Nyanza Regional Police Commander Karanja Muiruri did not comment about the episodes in the Police station.
